Work-Readiness Program
The Thusanang Program is in simple term a Work-Preparation Program designed for the HDI (Historically Disadvantaged Individuals) commerce graduates who find it hard to find employment.
It is a skills development program where graduates get trained for on soft and technical skills. The candidates must have a National Diploma/Degree or a College National Certificate in any of the accounting and finance streams for entry into the program.
The program is ran twice a year and each program last for a duration of four months and takes up to 40 unemployed graduates per group
In South Africa, there is an uproar of high graduate unemployment, hence the Thusanang program plays a major role in assisting the graduates find employment into the industry after completion of their degrees and diplomas from universities. At the heart of this, is the fact that most employers struggle in finding the right talent and skilled employees to form part of their companies. Thusanang program is a bridge between the employer and the graduates, whereby equipping the graduates with the necessary skills and technical know-how and placing the graduates into practices as learners on a SAIPA, SAICA or SAIBA Learnership or normal accounting and finance jobs.

Requirements
Qualifications
The applicant must have atleast a certificate, diploma or degree from recognized South African Academic institutions.
Experience
The applicant does not have to have any work experience.
Area
Graduates from any location across South Africa especially from rural areas.
Skills
Atleast have minimum knowledge of MS Word, Ms Excel and Pastel Accounting.
